This year winter never really had the grip on Winnipeg that it usually has, however, I still had my camera bag in the closet for most of it, and I am definitely still glad that spring seems to be coming and I'm getting my shooting motivation back. 

Coincidentally I have recently bumped into these three links on the internet which have boosted that motivation. They are about three photographers who, though from different genres, all are masters and all have created images I wish I had created, which I suppose is all inspiration is for me.

Yesterday I headed out to Stonewall for a portrait shoot with my friend Bev. I got inspired to take some portraits in a woodsy area with lots of bare tree branches (yes, it's May, and we STILL don't have any green leaves out!).

Thank you to everyone who came out to our opening reception night for our latest photo exhibit at the cre8ery gallery. We had a great turn out and even got to sell a few pieces. The show is now closed but stay tuned for future f/action photo exhibits!
