Gabrielle Touchette

Gabrielle's passion for the visual arts started at an early age with the exploration of drawing and painting as a form of expression. It wasn't until her early teens that she picked up a camera and became obsessed with documenting life around her, often through quirky and abstract interpretations.

The discovery of digital photography soon gave way to the exploration of portrait photography, where the fascination of personalities and relationships took its own course.

Inspired by the unconventional beauty of life and influenced by her strong attention to light and detail, Gabrielle's images often focus on colour, abstract shapes and emotion. Her work has been exhibited in Winnipeg at the Platform Gallery, La Maison des artistes visuels francophones and the Cre8ery gallery, as well as various other venues throughout the city.

Gabrielle holds a diploma in professional photography from PrairieView School of Photography and currently works full time as a portrait photographer in Winnipeg. Gabrielle Touchette Photography can be visited online at www.egabrielle.com.
